Social Forestry Division

                 The Social Forestry Division is headed by a Deputy Conservator of Forests, Kohima, Nagaland. The Division has a Range Office, which is headed by the Range Officer, Kohima. Social Forestry Division is set up to assist the Department in the matters of Public relation. The Primary aim of the division is to help create awareness on Environment importance and promote afforestation in the state. Currently the Division actively involves with local communities in  plantation,  forest management and awareness generation.   Landmark:  Forest Office Complex, Kohima, 2^nd Floor.
